Good afternoon NPS Families:
I just wanted to reach out today and wish you all an amazing summer, and thank you for all your support for the Northbridge Public Schools.
The leadership team will be working hard all summer to develop action plans for the district and each school to help us achieve the goals and initiatives of the new District Strategic Plan, which is attached to this message.
In addition, the principals have been working diligently for the last few weeks to ensure that we are fully staffed with great people for next year. We will also have much professional development for staff, as well as curriculum work, going on over the summer to prepare for an amazing new school year.
For our parents of middle and high school students, please be advised that we will be updating our Cell Phone Pouch Policy to reflect a different cost for replacement pouches, should they be lost or damaged. More information about the pouch policy, as well as when and how cost would be incurred, will be sent out in the next few weeks, and again toward the beginning of the school year when Handbooks are disseminated.
On July 8th and July 9th, the Technology Department will be resetting all students' network/Google email passwords. This new password will be a randomly generated seven-digit number followed by their first and last initial (lowercase). For example; 1314157ac. In order to view their new password after July 9, 2024, students will need to log into their Infinite Campus student portal and visit the "Student PW ID" custom tab. Students, parents, and guardians will be able to access this password at any time if forgotten.
We are doing this to better secure each student's account and provide the tech. department with the ability to quickly change their password if needed.

Please note that the retrieval of the new password should be done at home. If you do not have a computer at home, please reach out to your school’s main office staff.
NOTE: This will NOT change the existing Infinite Campus password.
We will also be moving away from S’mores newsletters, Connect Ed for all-calls, and our current clunky website platform and into Apptegy, which is a sleek, easy-to-navigate platform that will contain all the most updated information for every school and the district in one place. In addition, there will be an associated app you can download on your phone for even easier access to information. More to come on this.
