School Based Health Center Survey

For middle and high school parents: The Northbridge Public School District has been working with the Uxbridge School District and Family Continuity Program to develop a School-Based Mental Health Program at Northbridge High School.  This program would allow parents to sign up their high school students to receive in-school counseling services.  We eventually hope to also develop a School-Based Health Center that would provide simple medical services to high school students. We are surveying parents to document the need for these two services as part of our grant process.  This short survey can be accessed using the Link below.

Boys Lacrosse Teams Gear Up for Boston Marathon Fund

On Friday, May 17th, the boys lacrosse teams from Northbridge, Blackstone Valley Tech, Grafton, and Westborough will be joining together to raise funds for the One Fund to benefit victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.  See the attached flyer for more information.

 

Nurses' Newsletter

The spring 2013 issue of the Nurse's newsletter was released on April 2, 2013. This newsletter was developed by the school nurses in Northbridge to highlight topics on interest to students and parents/guardians.

Body Mass Index

The nurses will be measuring height and weight in grades 1, 4, 7, and 10. If you would like to have your child excluded from the Body Mass Index letter, please let your school nurse know in writing.

NCLB Report Card

In keeping with our responsibilities under the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), “report cards” for our district and each school have been prepared
